DUBAI – May 26th, 2021// Coming out of stealth after more than a year of research and development, neurothinkTM announced its “radically accessible” machine learning technology platform at the AIBC Summit Dubai today.
neurothink, a new machine learning and artificial intelligence technology company, is a highly disruptive platform which focuses on making machine learning more readily available, Brian Rogers, CEO and founder said, “neurothink is set to disrupt the status quo, in which advanced machine learning capabilities are available only to a privileged few.”
In his keynote address, neurothink Senior Vice President Charles Donly spoke on the limitations of machine learning platforms which inspired neurothink’s creation. “We want to see machine learning develop to be more user focused. neurothink was founded to eliminate the frustrations caused by data science interfaces and inefficient GPU access while using typical cloud service provider platforms,” said Donly.
“In order to bring the power of machine learning to the whole world, machine learning compute resources must become accessible to more scientists and those with access to data around the world,” Rogers said, “neurothink will bridge this gap by making the platform streamlined, innovative, secure, connecting edge-to-cloud, and building a machine learning community.”
Using dedicated GPU compute resources in a modern Tier-III certified colocation facility, neurothink can work with the latest server virtualization software from NVIDIA and VMware, customized at the CUDA level for maximum GPU efficiency. Users have access to a streamlined graphic interface or a command line interface without needing to switch between confusing environments. An integrated storage environment allows users to upload attach, save, and push the objects needed to complete their work. Users can resume work on their development instances with autosave. “These sophisticated features create an easy environment that truly brings a new era of discovery in machine learning,” said Donly.
In 2021, neurothink has available a staggering 4 petaflops of peak machine learning compute resource. In his keynote address, Donly stated one could make half a billion trips to the moon and back each second if each floating-point operation (flop) was equivalent to 1 kilometer. “neurothink’s compute speed is spectacular,” said Donly.
neurothink’s streamlined, low-friction process is focused on encouraging robust machine learning models on its own efficient and low-cost compute resources. The company has engineered end-to-end API-based security delivered on its own secure hardware and has engaged key partners with unique intellectual property to deliver useful machine learning models, including NVIDIA and VMWare.
“neurothink’s vision beyond building the compute platform is to create a community for machine learning enthusiasts to share and learn,” said Rogers.
Rogers is confident that neurothink will equalize access to machine learning so that anyone, not just data scientists, can create, test and deploy artificial intelligence and machine learning models. “There are brilliant minds in our world,” says Rogers, “think how much discovery and innovation will happen when a kid with great ideas who doesn’t have access to a university computer lab or cloud platforms can run and advance their models with neurothink.” “Machine learning. Radically accessible;” he continued, “The potential is staggering.”
